As I mentioned, 8/21 does not show up on dark/black hair without pre-lightening. If you apply 8/21 directly onto natural black hair, the color will not appear. If you want to achieve the 8/21 shade on your hair, you first need to lift your natural hair using a lifting cream like 0/00. After lifting, apply 8/21, and then you will get the desired color
